REBIRDING
RESTORING BRITAIN'S BIRDS
RESTORING LANDSCAPESOnly large, wild landscapes hold any future for our wildlife. In Britain, the battle is beginning to get these back. |
RESTORING STEWARDSEcosystem engineers have been managing habitat so for millions of years. Returning them is key. |
REWILDING BIRDSMany birds need a helping hand to return to our island. It's time to put back the prized heritage we're missing. |
REBIRDING, published in September 2018, is the first book on rewilding birds, exploring how the restoration of Britain’s natural heritage is in all of our best interests. REBIRDING, as a bird conservation movement, aims to support the rewilding revolution in Britain, whereby large areas of land are returned to natural stewardship, and national parks act as a new focus for wilderness and a huge growth in rural jobs. REBIRDING will be available via Amazon.com.
OUR GOALREBIRDING aims to begin a movement to restore natural ecosystems, animal stewards and natural processes in order to save and restore Britain's dying birdlife. Over time, visit this website for more information. |
“The environmental movement up to now has necessarily been reactive. We have been clear about what we don’t like. But we also need to say what we would like. We need to show where hope lies. Ecological restoration is a work of hope”.
